Midnight-5:50 pm Michael wakes slowly,calls room service and orders a breakfast.He stumbles to the shower and prepares for his day.As he finishes his shower his breakfast arrives.He tips the bellboy and begins his breakfast.After eating he strolls to work and is not interrupted most of the day.He is in the middle of an extremely delicate piece of circuitry most of the day,stopping only to grab a bite.He is unable to solve the problem as the circuit continues to overload when placed in the robot.He is frustrated and therefore happy when it is time time to leave.He walks a little way home then stops at a pay phone.He dials the Midville Police Station and ask for Sgt.Wojokowski.He is placed on hold for a very long time and is about to hang up when Sgt.Wojokowski answers.

5:50 pm Michael speaks quietly into the phone, "Good evening Sgt. This is Lord Galen of the Guardians. I was calling to check in on the costumed character Dementia and the injured officer. Are they alright? "Sgt Wojokowski replies,"Both the officer and Dementia are doing fine.The officer will probably spend another night in the hospital,but seems to be recovering nicely.Dementia wanted to be released this morning but I told her you wished to speak with her.I believe she is waiting for you before she leaves the hospital."

5:50:15 pm Michael looks about to be sure no one is paying him any attention and again speaks quietly into the phone,"I was also calling to see if my name has been cleared of any wrongdoing and to find out when you wanted to have this meeting with the Guardians and where?"The reply comes quickly in Wojokowski's baritone,"At this point in the investigation yes,I have determined that this was an act of self-defense.Can you and your teammates meet me on the roof of the MPD building at 8:30 pm?"

5:50:30 pm Michael speaks quietly into the phone,"I will speak to my team and see if that can be arranged. I will get back to you. Goodbye."He then heads back to the hotel.

5:50-6:30 pm Michael arrives at the hotel and checks his machine.He's disappointed to see no messages,he was hoping to hear from the landlord or the homeless girl.He calls to the desk and orders some room service dinner and sits to flip on the TV.Soon there comes a knock on the door and Michael answers it.It's his dinner and he smiles as he takes his dinner to sit and watch TV.

6:30-8:40 pm Michael continues to relax and watch some TV.

8:40-9:00 pm Michael watches a little more TV then decides to hit the streets and see how the city is doing.He changes into costume and starts his patrol.He is out a few minutes when he notices Vyra flying about above and some sort of flame guy also flying about.

9:00-9:10 pm Lord Galen turns to watch Vyra flying when he feels a tap on his shoulder.He turns quickly and takes up a defensive posture.Before him is the flaming character he saw flying about the sky."Well I do hope this is a friendly visit.",Lord Galen says,preparing for the worst.

9:10-9:20 pm The flaming guy loks at Lord Galen and replies,"This will be a friendly visit if you are a friendly person.I would just like to know who you are and what you are doing?".As he finishes Vyra lands nearby and says,"Hello Lord Galen.I saw the two of you here and thought I'd stop by and see what I was missing."Lord Galen looks at her then turns and replies to the flaming guy,"I am Lord Galen,leader of the New Guardians.This is Vyra a fellow hero.I'm patrolling the city I have promised to protect.May I ask you the same ?"

9:20-9:30 pm The unknown man looks at the two a minute then speaks."I call myself Pyro.I'm new to the city and I too want to protect it.Who are these 'New Guardians' you lead?"Lord Galen starts to answer when Vyra speaks up,"They are a team of heroes under the auspices of being this cities protectors.Which leads right to my question Lord Galen,have you discussed my offer with Vengeance?"Lord Galen is silent a moment then replies,"I have Vyra and I'm sorry to inform you the decision was no,at this time the Guardians will not be inviting you to join."Vyra's face falls and seeing this Lord Galen continues,"It was a democratic decision and the feeling was that your allegiance to Flare would put a strain on the team that it doesn't need."Vyra continues to hang her head and as the seconds tick by Pyro speaks up,"Does that mean the Guardians are not looking for members?"Lord Galen looks at Vyra a moment and answers,"Actually we are looking for members but both I and my teammate must ok it before a new member is invited to join."He taps his badge and says,"Vengeance,it's Galen I would like to see you.Are you available?"Vyra looks up and quietly says,"I have to be going but Dr.Jill wanted me to ask about the mutant in the base,how is she?Also she wanted to know if it would be possible for her to see the girl."

9:30-9:40 pm Lord Galen replies,"I'm sure we can set-up a meeting sometime."Pyro looks at Galen and asks,"What sort of mutant is she speaking of? Is there anyway that I can help with anything?""The only answer I have for you is,the Guardians have a young mutant who is very sick in our medlab.We have the best minds on the planet aiding us so I am unsure how much help you could give,Pyro.",Lord Galen replies.Vyra floats skyward but hovers a moment to comment,"I will relay the message to Dr.Jill and hope the next time we meet it will be to set-up a meeting between her and the girl.Pyro,it's always nice to have another hero in town.If things do not work out for you with the Guardians,I,too,am starting a group of heroes to help protect this fair city.Look me up."She soars of to continue her patrol.

9:40-9:50 pm Both men watch as Vyra departs.Lord Galen looks at Pyro,"The Guardians are in fact looking for members but at the moment I am unable to contact the other member of the team.Would you like to patrol awhile,perhaps I can get contact with him later."

9:50 pm-12:15 am Lord Galen and Pyro patrol a few minutes together when Pyro says,"It has been nice but I need to finish up this patrol.Next time we meet perhaps you will have had contact with your team mate and you can give me an answer."Lord Galen nods and Pyro flies off.Lord Galen continues his patrol till 11 pm then he too finishes his patrol.He goes home and hits the sack.
