1:00-1:05 am As he is tinkering on his project Kip looks over to
his answering machine to notice the flashing message light.He clicks the play
button and sits to tinker while he listens."Kip,it's
Jessica.Just got out of the meeting about Pryde Pointe.I'm a little confused,but
the sellers now say because of some recent events that they are pulling the
property off the market.They were very adamant about it.Give me a call."
The message is time stamped at 11:30pm.Kip smiles to himself at the sound
of her voice,and takes a mental note to call her in the morning.
1:05-2:45 amKip continues tinkering...
2:45-3:00 am Vengeance places the soldering gun on the table and stretches.He leaves the workdesk and slowly walks into his bedroom.He undresses and climbs into bed.
3:00 am till morning Kip sleeps
Morning till 10 am Kip gets up around 9 am.He grabs a quick bite for breakfast then grabs the phone to call Jessica."Hello?",comes the voice at the other end." Hello Mrs. Went how are you doing today?",Kip says cheerfully."Well hi Kip,I assume you got my message?",Jessica ask." I was calling to say I am no longer interested in buying Pride point. I would also like to sell my arena to the highest bidder.And would be interested in buying the garage Details Details. Let me know of any findings you have.Maybe we can get together for lunch sometime.",Kip says casually."O.k.I'm sorry the Pryde Pointe deal feel through,I was sure we had that one in the bag.I'll start checking on this garage for you,and will get the paper work started for an auction.Perhaps we can do lunch early in the week to finalize it.I'll have the office call to set-up another meeting....Bye.",replies Jessica."Bye.",Kip says and hangs up the phone.He then dials the Globe and cancels the ad for Guardian try-outs. I hope those other guy were smart enough to reopen the base or the hurt mutant may die,he thinks to himself.Kip looks at the clock,almost 10 o'clock,and decides to patrol.He changes into costume,then after a quick check for by-standers floats out his window.
10:00-10:20 am Vengeance continues his patrol.He decides to check out 'Details,Details',the garage he is interested in buying,and patrols in that direction.
10:20-10:30 am Vengeance floats toward 'Details,Details',disappointed to see it open.He was hoping to snoop around a little.He decides to snoop the underground parking garage nearby.Nothing seems out of the ordinary.
12:30-2:50 pm Vengeance continues his patrol of the city.
2:50-3:00 pm Vengeance takes one last look around the city and with all being quiet decides to stop patrolling.He finds an alley and discreetly changes.He exits the ally as Kip and starts to walk toward The Joint,an area bar.
3:00-3:10 pm Kip steps into "The Joint" and glances around.The place is full of people and he starts to make his way toward the bar.After he catches the bartenders attention he orders a dime,prerolled and goes to find a table.He finds one near the rear of the bar and sits to relax and fires up one of the tokes he just bought.After a couple hits he notices a woman a couple tables over paying a lot of attention to him.
3:10-3:30 pm Kip finishes his stick and sits back to relax.
3:30-3:40 pm Kip finishes his time at "The Joint",at starts out to get a cellphone.
3:40-3:50 pm Kip walks to the mall,finds a electronics shop and begins to fill out the forms to get a callphone.
3:50-4:00 pm Kip finishes the final portion of the contract and pays for his phone.
4:00-4:50 pm Kip leaves the Mall and walks home.Once he arrives at home he gets on the internet and looks up Lockheade.He surfs around thier page looking for the B-2 stealth bomber.He finds it and starts to dig a little deeper.He discovers the price for one B-2 is 2.1 billion dollars.He frowns and flips the computer off.He pulls out the amplification suit he is working on and starts to tinker.
4:50-5:30 Kip continues tinkering.
5:30-5:40 pm Kip decides to stop his tinkering and see what is going on in the city.He changes into costume and starts his patrol.Within minutes he sees Lord Galen and Silencer in Buchannon Park and floats to a landing nearby.
5:40-5:50 pm As Vengeance lands he looks and sees the other heroes."Is this a private party or can any Character in a hero suit drop by. So What's going on?" Both heroes turn to him.Lord Galen responds,"We were just discussing the Guardian base and badges.I was saying that I am leader and plan to stay that way.I do want input from team members and will make decisions based on their opinions.I was just ready to ask who was interested and what they would bring to this group."
5:50-6:00 pm Vengeance looks at Lord Galen and states,"Well count me in if you want me. Is Flare going to be a Guardian?I don't like him much he is kind of stuck on himself.So any plans or thought of what to do next?I will follow,I am just glad Flare could not figure out the base.He must be strong because he is a little on the slowside."Lord Galen looks shocked at these statements then replies,"I would be honored to make you a Guardian,Vengeance.As for Flare being a Guardian,I can't be sure.If he wants too and can accept my leadership,without rocking the boat,I would take him.I am not going to hunt down new members,but if someone wishes to join and ask,I would accept them.I don't plan on being a dictator and want input from the members.My plans...well...finding someone to cure the girl first.In the meantime I wanted to gather some team members and investigate the base a little,figure out what all it can and cannot do.I have already started the New York base and also plan to find the others and start them.I am waiting here for Vyra's return.She seemed interested."Both Vengeance and Lord Galen are shocked as the ever quiet Silencer speaks,"I too wish to be a Guardian."
6:00-6:10 pm Vengeance puts his arms around his new teammates and says,"This sounds like it should be a celebration,the beginning of a new super team,The New Guardians.Perhaps we should go in and check on the girl and maybe try to get some answers about this Legacy virus.I believe there is little known but with help from Base maybe we can get some answers.Besides I wouldn't mind getting a badge."Lord Galen seems lost in thought for a few moments then places his hand on his badge."Base open the bridge.You two head inside,check the girl.",he replies and in the lake the two heroes see the edge of the bridge start to extend above the waterline."I'm going to wait a few more minutes for Vyra.",Lord Galen says,glancing toward the hospital roof and the two figures there.The figure of of Vyra turns and flies toward them.
6:10-6:20 pm Vengeance starts to float off toward the extended bridge when Silencer asks,"Can I get a lift?"Vengeance swoops down,grabs Silencer under the arms and floats toward the bridge.The two heroes enter the bridge and descend into the hangar.They exit the hangar and catch the elevator to the third level.They walk into the medlab and see the girl on the bed,tubes and equipment all around her.Above ground Lord Galen watches as Vyra and the figure from the roof,who he recognizes as Flare,fly toward him.They both land nearby and Flare says simply. "I'm here to check on the patient...But since I'm here, any thoughts on democratic leadership or is it still to be a self-election?"
6:20-6:30 pm Vengeance turns to Silencer and ask,"Should we get a badge now or wait for our new leader?"Silencer just looks and shrugs.Vengeance goes over to the girl and checks her vital signs.The base seems to have her stable and her vital signs seem fine for a girl in a coma.
6:30-6:40 pm "Base have we reached Xavier yet?" ,Vengeance ask and waits for a reply but figures he needs a badge before the base will reply to his voice.To his surprise the vase replies,"Wait....Negative,contact with Professor Xavier has not been established...Lord Galen will be inside in moments." Vengeance then looks at Silencer," I guess we wait for Galen for now.Damn Silencer you need to speak up and say something."Silencer looks at Vengeance and smiles.
6:40-6:50 pm Vengeance pulls a joint out of his pocket and begins to take a couple of tokes."Well while we wait I going to hit this a couple of times. Do you want a hit Silencer?This might loosen those tight lips.Hey I think I said that to an old girlfriend before."Vengeance starts to laugh as he waits for Galen to enter.Silencer just stares.The door to the medlab opens and Flare enters.
6:50-7:00 pm Lord Galen rides the elevator to the third level,anxious to speak to Flare.In the medlab Flare addresses Vengeance and Silencer. "What is the condition of the girl? Is it unchanged?" Vengeance puts the joint away and looks at the two men. "For someone who does not want to join you sure do enjoy stopping by.What's up hemorroid,I mean Flare.You come by to check out what you can't control. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer huh Flare. ",he quips. Flare looks incredulous but before he can comment the door to the medlab opens and in strides Lord Galen. Lord Galen stands tall with determination in his eyes. "First of all",Lord Galen begins, "I did not seize control of this base, therefore, I am not a tyrant. The power was given to me. Secondly, who the hell gave you the power to judge me? I don't care who you think you are. I gave you the opportunity to join an elite group of super heroes, The Guardians, pardon me, THE NEW GUARDIANS. You turned the offer down. You now have no right to enter this base, you are trespassing. I will update you on the state and progress of the young lady in our care if you so desire. I must now ask you to leave." Lord Galen stretches out his hand in the direction Flare must exit and waits.
7:00-7:10 pm Vengeance gets up and prepares himself for any problems to occur.He seems to concentrate a moment then states," I think you are not welcome here hemorrhoid so if you know what's good for you,you should leave." Flare grits his teeth. "ONE MORE, AND I MEAN ONE MORE, INSULT FROM ANY OF YOU AND WE SHALL SEE JUST WHO HAS WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A GUARDIAN! LET ME MAKE MYSELF PERFECTLY CLEAR...YOU PRESUME TO THINK THAT I HAVE INSTIGATED THIS NONSENSE...YOU ARE WRONG. FROM THE FIRST MEETING IN WHICH I EXPRESSED INTEREST IN FORMING A GROUP, YOU HAVE ASSUMED THAT I WAS SEIZING CONTROL OF THIS BASE..AND WHEN I TRY TO EXPLAIN THAT THIS IS NOT THE CASE, I AM INSULTED!! WELL HERE IS HOW THIS IS GOING TO PLAY OUT. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT AT LEAST TWO OF YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR BACKSIDES FROM A HOLE-IN-THE-GROUND...AND THOUGH THAT RANKLES ME, IT ISN'T ENOUGH TO ACT UPON...BUT!...SEEING AS HOW WE ARE DEALING WITH A SITUATION THAT WILL AFFECT THIS CITY...NAMELY YOUR ASININE CONTROL OF THE GUARDIAN LEGACY...I MUST ACT. AFTER I SEE TO THE PATIENT, WHOM I FEEL RESPONSIBLE FOR, I PLAN TO GO TO SEE SGT. WARJOKOWSKI, HEAD OF SUPERCRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS FOR THE POLICE. I WILL BE REVEALING THE LOCATION AND THE RESOURCES OF THIS BASE, IF ONLY TO SEE THAT YOU CHILDREN DO NOT GET THE USE OF THIS GREAT GIFT. NOW CHEW ON THAT AND GET THE HECK OUT OF MY WAY!" Flare glares Vengeance and Galen, then moves to check on the patient.He take only a step and runs into an invisible wall blocking him from the girl.
7:10-7:20 pm Vengeance sounds off,"I am going to wet myself .The Hemorrhoid is getting upset.I am so f****** scared.You want some Flamer come get some,if not I think the Leader asked you to leave. You tell Wojo all you want.We are protectors of the city. You,I am not so sure of.Always barging in the base and barking orders.You say you never wanted to be leader yet everytime I see you,you bark out orders like a little Hitler minus the facial hair. Now you do what you gotta do but know I personally will be watching you flameboy."Vengeance gives Flare a hard stare."I intend to defend this base to my death if necessary and you may take me down but you will take a h*** of beating boy."Lord Galen steps between the two and says,"Base, The character known as Flare in the yellow costume is to be detained. He must not be permitted to leave this base." There are a few clicks and clunks heard from the walls and the four here the base reply,"Unable to pinpoint yellow character...all subjects in base are located in medlab...medlab lockdown beginning...warning:my estimation is this places patient in extreme risk...repeat warning:patient placed at extreme risk..." Lord Galen turns to the other Guardians and says," I believe we have come to our first democratic discussion. What shall we do with this character? What harm could the police do? They can't get into the base unless permitted. I still do not think it is a good idea for the location of the base and its resources to be known. Vengeance, Silencer, what are your thoughts and ideas?" He then turns to Flare,"As for you, I cannot believe the way you have tried to take control over every discussion and meeting we have had. You act like a small child. Now you must wait to see what the New Guardians will decide to be the best course of action against this threat you have confronted us with. As you know this base is very powerful and impregnable. It will keep you here as long as we need. It is a shame it must come to this." He then turns to Vengeance," I think we need Vyra here as well. She has shown her allegiance to be with Flare. What are your thoughts?"
7:20-7:30 pm Lord Galen orders, "Base, cancel medlab lockdown, stabilize patient."The mechanical voice replies,"Lockdown canceled...patient stable..."Again there are clunks and thuds heard as Lord Galen turns to Vengeance and Silencer and says," Vengeance, Silencer, go get your badges. Base, allow Vengeance and Silencer Badges, designate 2 and 3 no one else. No one without a badge shall leave this base. Understood?"Again the mechanical voice is heard,"Badges awaiting authorization...bridge closing...base secure,the only exit is teleportation by badges"Vengeance turns to Lord Galen," I don't think kidnapping is the way to go about this personally. We have committed no crime but to help Shadowcat.I am sure the authorities know of the base and as long as we keep our act clean we should be fine.We should let Flare go but tell him to stay out of our business. Right now he is trespassing and I feel him to be a threat to us and the girl.But what ever you decide I will listen for loyalty is what a great team is made of."Silencer stands quiet,waiting.
7:30-7:40 pm Flare rolls his eyes and crosses his arms. "I will be leaving. Short of trying to kill me, you won't be stopping me...but right now I came here to see how the patient is doing...are you going to stop me from that mundane task or let me do it so that I will leave for christ's sake. The only other option is a fight and you know that, and if that's what you want I won't back down."Silencer looks around and says,"I'm done my friends.Lord Galen I need to leave."Vengeance looks at Silencer a moment then exits the medlab.He continues down the little hall outside the medlab and when he enters the medical office he is surprised by Vyra entering from the other door.
7:40-7:50 pm Vengeance looks at Vyra"What's up?Come to check on the patient or are you lost? Looking for Hemorrhoid?You are his sidekick right? He's in the medlab its down that way." Vyra stands in shock. She prepares herself for any un-expected moves. "I don't mean any harm. I've come to make sure Flare is alright."She prepares for action and is surprised as Vengeance rushes past her and enters the elevator.Vengeance rides the elevator to the 2nd level and exits the elevator,going to his right.He enters the door at the end of the hallway and finds himself in the base headquarters.He looks around and spots the remaining four badges in their charging bay in the south wall and walks over to them.In the medical office Vyra stands for a moment confused then starts to walk toward the door Vengeance pointed to when Lord Galen enters thru the same door.
7:50-8:00 pm Vengeance walks over to the charging bay and takes a badge.He hears the mechanical voice say,"Badge authorization beginning...place your palm on the badge a say I am,your code name,designate 2..."Vengeance repeats,"I am Vengeance designate 2."The base replies,"Badge 2 authorized..."Vengeance places his hand on his badge and says,"Galen,Vyra is also in the base.I think we should let them go so we can get away from them.I am sick of Flare b****ing all the time.And Vyra is like a dummy on his lap,can not make decisions for herself.They are like an annoying married couple.Lets just get rid of them what do you think?"
8:00-8:10 pm Vengeance leaves the HQ and goes to the elevator.He steps in and rides it down.From his badge he hears Lord Galen ask, "Vengeance, I will be escorting our garbage to the exit, would you care to join me?"He places his hand on his badge and replies,"I'm on my way to the medlab now." Soon the elevator comes to a stop and Vengeance steps out and walks into the Medical office where he sees Flare,Silencer,Vyra and Lord Galen gathered.
8:10-8:20 pm Lord Galen responds, "Vyra, I am very touched by your words but I find them to be in total conflict of your actions. After all, a moment ago you threatened me. I offered Flare a place here and tried to shrug off the past. He refused to do so. I think now the best think to do is to part ways. I don't want to fight with either one of you and if you were in trouble I would gladly watch your back. Maybe in time as anger subsides we can meet and talk again. As for now I must ask you to leave." Lord Galen turns to Vengeance, "Will you accompany me in seeing our acquaintances to the exit?" Vengeance nods his head and the four costumed heroes exit the medical office and enter the elevator.They ride the elevator to the first level and walk toward the hangar.
8:20-8:30 pm Lord Galen orders,"Base open bridge."With a few clinks and clanks the heroes look above them to see the bridge extend and the view of the open sky.Before Vyra exits the Guardian Base, she says to Lord Galen, "Well, at least were both able to exchange our idea without getting violent or vulgar. And I do hope that we can one day be United as one group. And as for us," She says turning to Flare, "Or at least I, will be glad to help you in your time of need. But I want you to seriously consider all that I have said, and maybe we can patch up this mis-understanding. " She than begins to walk towards the exit, and then stops. "It doesn't make sense how all of us are here for one purpose, to stop evil, and none of us can except each other to give to highest opportunity to do so. It makes me wonder if any of us truly desire to stop evil, or if we are to caught up with trying to be leader of everyone else." Flare says quietly to Vyra. "It's too late...Your words, though noble, can only fall on deaf ears in here. Don't fall into the same pit that these two did and think that I am gunning for leadership of the Guardians...I never was. That was the assumption that started this whole thing. I made a speech about wanting to form a group, and both of these men thought I wanted their toys. I was judged an egomaniac for having a point of view. The only thing I ever wanted was a choice in who should be leader. The bottom line is this, I doubt that this rift will ever close. I would still work with you Vyra, if you should choose it."Vyra looks at the others for a second then flies out the bridge. Flare too stands for a moment then flies out. Once Flare exists, Vyra signals him down to a roof, so she can tell him all that she has learned. "I'd like to talk in the morning...maybe 7ish, in the park near police HQ...I'll bring the coffee." , Flare says.
8:30 pm - midnight Vengeance says to Lord Galen,"It's been a long night and if there is nothing else I'm going to leave."He flies out the bridge and to the vacant lot next to the Hotel Claire and searches for about an hour .The only thing he finds is evidence that some one has been living there but is unable to see who.He flies home and works on his project for a couple hours then grabs a bite to eat and then to bed.

6:50-7:00 pm Lord Galen rides the elevator to the third level,anxious to speak to Flare.In the medlab Flare addresses Vengeance and Silencer. "What is the condition of the girl? Is it unchanged?" Vengeance puts the joint away and looks at the two men. "For someone who does not want to join you sure do enjoy stopping by.What's up hemorroid,I mean Flare.You come by to check out what you can't control. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer huh Flare. ",he quips. Flare looks incredulous but before he can comment the door to the medlab opens and in strides Lord Galen. Lord Galen stands tall with determination in his eyes. "First of all",Lord Galen begins, "I did not seize control of this base, therefore, I am not a tyrant. The power was given to me. Secondly, who the hell gave you the power to judge me? I don't care who you think you are. I gave you the opportunity to join an elite group of super heroes, The Guardians, pardon me, THE NEW GUARDIANS. You turned the offer down. You now have no right to enter this base, you are trespassing. I will update you on the state and progress of the young lady in our care if you so desire. I must now ask you to leave." Lord Galen stretches out his hand in the direction Flare must exit and waits.
7:00-7:10 pm Vengeance gets up and prepares himself for any problems to occur.He seems to concentrate a moment then states," I think you are not welcome here hemorrhoid so if you know what's good for you,you should leave." Flare grits his teeth. "ONE MORE, AND I MEAN ONE MORE, INSULT FROM ANY OF YOU AND WE SHALL SEE JUST WHO HAS WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A GUARDIAN! LET ME MAKE MYSELF PERFECTLY CLEAR...YOU PRESUME TO THINK THAT I HAVE INSTIGATED THIS NONSENSE...YOU ARE WRONG. FROM THE FIRST MEETING IN WHICH I EXPRESSED INTEREST IN FORMING A GROUP, YOU HAVE ASSUMED THAT I WAS SEIZING CONTROL OF THIS BASE..AND WHEN I TRY TO EXPLAIN THAT THIS IS NOT THE CASE, I AM INSULTED!! WELL HERE IS HOW THIS IS GOING TO PLAY OUT. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT AT LEAST TWO OF YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR BACKSIDES FROM A HOLE-IN-THE-GROUND...AND THOUGH THAT RANKLES ME, IT ISN'T ENOUGH TO ACT UPON...BUT!...SEEING AS HOW WE ARE DEALING WITH A SITUATION THAT WILL AFFECT THIS CITY...NAMELY YOUR ASININE CONTROL OF THE GUARDIAN LEGACY...I MUST ACT. AFTER I SEE TO THE PATIENT, WHOM I FEEL RESPONSIBLE FOR, I PLAN TO GO TO SEE SGT. WARJOKOWSKI, HEAD OF SUPERCRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS FOR THE POLICE. I WILL BE REVEALING THE LOCATION AND THE RESOURCES OF THIS BASE, IF ONLY TO SEE THAT YOU CHILDREN DO NOT GET THE USE OF THIS GREAT GIFT. NOW CHEW ON THAT AND GET THE HECK OUT OF MY WAY!" Flare glares Vengeance and Galen, then moves to check on the patient.He take only a step and runs into an invisible wall blocking him from the girl.
7:10-7:20 pm Vengeance sounds off,"I am going to wet myself .The Hemorrhoid is getting upset.I am so f****** scared.You want some Flamer come get some,if not I think the Leader asked you to leave. You tell Wojo all you want.We are protectors of the city. You,I am not so sure of.Always barging in the base and barking orders.You say you never wanted to be leader yet everytime I see you,you bark out orders like a little Hitler minus the facial hair. Now you do what you gotta do but know I personally will be watching you flameboy."Vengeance gives Flare a hard stare."I intend to defend this base to my death if necessary and you may take me down but you will take a h*** of beating boy."Lord Galen steps between the two and says,"Base, The character known as Flare in the yellow costume is to be detained. He must not be permitted to leave this base." There are a few clicks and clunks heard from the walls and the four here the base reply,"Unable to pinpoint yellow character...all subjects in base are located in medlab...medlab lockdown beginning...warning:my estimation is this places patient in extreme risk...repeat warning:patient placed at extreme risk..." Lord Galen turns to the other Guardians and says," I believe we have come to our first democratic discussion. What shall we do with this character? What harm could the police do? They can't get into the base unless permitted. I still do not think it is a good idea for the location of the base and its resources to be known. Vengeance, Silencer, what are your thoughts and ideas?" He then turns to Flare,"As for you, I cannot believe the way you have tried to take control over every discussion and meeting we have had. You act like a small child. Now you must wait to see what the New Guardians will decide to be the best course of action against this threat you have confronted us with. As you know this base is very powerful and impregnable. It will keep you here as long as we need. It is a shame it must come to this." He then turns to Vengeance," I think we need Vyra here as well. She has shown her allegiance to be with Flare. What are your thoughts?"
7:20-7:30 pm Lord Galen orders, "Base, cancel medlab lockdown, stabilize patient."The mechanical voice replies,"Lockdown canceled...patient stable..."Again there are clunks and thuds heard as Lord Galen turns to Vengeance and Silencer and says," Vengeance, Silencer, go get your badges. Base, allow Vengeance and Silencer Badges, designate 2 and 3 no one else. No one without a badge shall leave this base. Understood?"Again the mechanical voice is heard,"Badges awaiting authorization...bridge closing...base secure,the only exit is teleportation by badges"Vengeance turns to Lord Galen," I don't think kidnapping is the way to go about this personally. We have committed no crime but to help Shadowcat.I am sure the authorities know of the base and as long as we keep our act clean we should be fine.We should let Flare go but tell him to stay out of our business. Right now he is trespassing and I feel him to be a threat to us and the girl.But what ever you decide I will listen for loyalty is what a great team is made of."Silencer stands quiet,waiting.
7:30-7:40 pm Flare rolls his eyes and crosses his arms. "I will be leaving. Short of trying to kill me, you won't be stopping me...but right now I came here to see how the patient is doing...are you going to stop me from that mundane task or let me do it so that I will leave for christ's sake. The only other option is a fight and you know that, and if that's what you want I won't back down."Silencer looks around and says,"I'm done my friends.Lord Galen I need to leave."Vengeance looks at Silencer a moment then exits the medlab.He continues down the little hall outside the medlab and when he enters the medical office he is surprised by Vyra entering from the other door.
7:40-7:50 pm Vengeance looks at Vyra"What's up?Come to check on the patient or are you lost? Looking for Hemorrhoid?You are his sidekick right? He's in the medlab its down that way." Vyra stands in shock. She prepares herself for any un-expected moves. "I don't mean any harm. I've come to make sure Flare is alright."She prepares for action and is surprised as Vengeance rushes past her and enters the elevator.Vengeance rides the elevator to the 2nd level and exits the elevator,going to his right.He enters the door at the end of the hallway and finds himself in the base headquarters.He looks around and spots the remaining four badges in their charging bay in the south wall and walks over to them.In the medical office Vyra stands for a moment confused then starts to walk toward the door Vengeance pointed to when Lord Galen enters thru the same door.
7:50-8:00 pm Vengeance walks over to the charging bay and takes a badge.He hears the mechanical voice say,"Badge authorization beginning...place your palm on the badge a say I am,your code name,designate 2..."Vengeance repeats,"I am Vengeance designate 2."The base replies,"Badge 2 authorized..."Vengeance places his hand on his badge and says,"Galen,Vyra is also in the base.I think we should let them go so we can get away from them.I am sick of Flare b****ing all the time.And Vyra is like a dummy on his lap,can not make decisions for herself.They are like an annoying married couple.Lets just get rid of them what do you think?"
8:00-8:10 pm Vengeance leaves the HQ and goes to the elevator.He steps in and rides it down.From his badge he hears Lord Galen ask, "Vengeance, I will be escorting our garbage to the exit, would you care to join me?"He places his hand on his badge and replies,"I'm on my way to the medlab now." Soon the elevator comes to a stop and Vengeance steps out and walks into the Medical office where he sees Flare,Silencer,Vyra and Lord Galen gathered.
8:10-8:20 pm Lord Galen responds, "Vyra, I am very touched by your words but I find them to be in total conflict of your actions. After all, a moment ago you threatened me. I offered Flare a place here and tried to shrug off the past. He refused to do so. I think now the best think to do is to part ways. I don't want to fight with either one of you and if you were in trouble I would gladly watch your back. Maybe in time as anger subsides we can meet and talk again. As for now I must ask you to leave." Lord Galen turns to Vengeance, "Will you accompany me in seeing our acquaintances to the exit?" Vengeance nods his head and the four costumed heroes exit the medical office and enter the elevator.They ride the elevator to the first level and walk toward the hangar.
8:20-8:30 pm Lord Galen orders,"Base open bridge."With a few clinks and clanks the heroes look above them to see the bridge extend and the view of the open sky.Before Vyra exits the Guardian Base, she says to Lord Galen, "Well, at least were both able to exchange our idea without getting violent or vulgar. And I do hope that we can one day be United as one group. And as for us," She says turning to Flare, "Or at least I, will be glad to help you in your time of need. But I want you to seriously consider all that I have said, and maybe we can patch up this mis-understanding. " She than begins to walk towards the exit, and then stops. "It doesn't make sense how all of us are here for one purpose, to stop evil, and none of us can except each other to give to highest opportunity to do so. It makes me wonder if any of us truly desire to stop evil, or if we are to caught up with trying to be leader of everyone else." Flare says quietly to Vyra. "It's too late...Your words, though noble, can only fall on deaf ears in here. Don't fall into the same pit that these two did and think that I am gunning for leadership of the Guardians...I never was. That was the assumption that started this whole thing. I made a speech about wanting to form a group, and both of these men thought I wanted their toys. I was judged an egomaniac for having a point of view. The only thing I ever wanted was a choice in who should be leader. The bottom line is this, I doubt that this rift will ever close. I would still work with you Vyra, if you should choose it."Vyra looks at the others for a second then flies out the bridge. Flare too stands for a moment then flies out. Once Flare exists, Vyra signals him down to a roof, so she can tell him all that she has learned. "I'd like to talk in the morning...maybe 7ish, in the park near police HQ...I'll bring the coffee." , Flare says.
8:30 pm - midnight Vengeance says to Lord Galen,"It's been a long night and if there is nothing else I'm going to leave."He flies out the bridge and to the vacant lot next to the Hotel Claire and searches for about an hour .The only thing he finds is evidence that some one has been living there but is unable to see who.He flies home and works on his project for a couple hours then grabs a bite to eat and then to bed.
