Being a game designer,Brandon had spent some time developing a game controller gloves.These gloves worked by picking up the electrical signals of the nervous system in the players hand.One night,during a major thunderstorm,Brandon accidently wore the gloves while searching for his stray dog.A bolt of lightning strikes the gloves,arcing eerily around Brandon.Once he awakes in the rain,Brandon realizes something is different,he can almost FEEL the storm.During the days and weeks ahead Brandon finds that he can control the weather,stand extremes of temperature,and raise things from the dead.With more experimentation he finds that if he wears the gloves he can absorb the abilities of others and the natural shape of the gloves make them a natural claw.He is happy in the discovery of his abilities but feels alone in his home town because no one was like him.Then one day,reading the local paper,he spots a picture and article about Midville and a hero named "Omega".He decides to move there and feel a little bit more comfortable about his *godlike* powers.
